Mixing Instructions:

Combine with water:
- Use dechlorinated tap or purified water
- Mix ½ cup of salt per 1 U.S. gallon
- Stir thoroughly to dissolve completely
- Aerate before use for best results - this stabilizes oxygen & CO₂ levels

Measure salinity using a hydrometer or refractometer
- Target Specific Gravity: 1.020 – 1.024 at 77°F

Adjust as needed:
- If SG is low, add more salt
- If SG is high, dilute with fresh water

Routine Maintenance:
- Replace 20% of your aquarium water every 2 weeks to maintain peak water quality
Important Notes:
- Do not mix salt directly in an aquarium with live animals
- In new tanks, introduce livestock only after the saltwater is fully mixed, aerated, and adjusted
