The HYDROS Control X3-S is a compact yet powerful aquarium controller designed to monitor key parameters and automate essential equipment. It can function as a standalone controller for saltwater aquariums, freshwater systems, or ponds, or it can be integrated with other HYDROS devices to create a fully expandable control network.
Built on the HYDROS Safety Net architecture and rated IP65, the Control X3-S is engineered for reliability in harsh aquarium environments. All HYDROS products are engineered, assembled, and supported in the USA.

2x Sense Ports
HYDROS Sense Ports accept a wide range of compatible sensors, including:
- Temperature probes
- Optical level sensors (single & dual)
- Capacitive non-contact level sensors
- Rope leak detectors
- Point leak detectors
- Flow rate sensors
- Magnetic switches
- Push-button switches
1x Probe Port (pH or ORP)
The dedicated Probe Port supports either a pH or ORP probe. This input features ultra-high-quality circuitry with digital galvanic isolation to prevent electrical interference from pumps and motors. The signal is converted to digital before isolation, preserving measurement accuracy.
2x Command Bus Ports
Used for powering the controller and communicating with other HYDROS devices. The Command Bus enables data transfer and redundancy within a larger HYDROS system.
Control & Alerts
The Control X3-S can:
- Monitor temperature, pH, ORP, salinity, and water levels
- Send alerts and notifications
- Automate equipment such as pumps, lights, feeders, and more
Warranty
Covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty from CoralVue. Warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in materials and workmanship. Misuse, modification, or unauthorized repair voids warranty. CoralVue must be notified within 10 days of discovering a defect.

We totally understand that plans change! You can modify or cancel your order as long as it hasn’t been shipped yet. Just call or email us right away - our team will confirm if we can catch it before it leaves our facility.
If your order is already in transit, you’ll need to request a return once it arrives. Keep in mind that some items, like aquariums and livestock, can’t be returned.
