Overview:
The Gem Tang is one of the most prized and visually stunning tangs in the hobby, featuring a deep black body speckled with brilliant white or yellow dots and a vibrant yellow tail. Native to the Western Indian Ocean, this species is hardy and relatively peaceful by tang standards, making it an excellent choice for beginner to intermediate hobbyists with a stable system. Its smaller tank size requirement compared to other tangs adds to its appeal in reef environments.
