The Reef Octopus Classic 2000-HOB is a powerful hang-on-back protein skimmer engineered for marine aquariums up to 200 gallons. With a slim profile and externally mounted Aquatrance 2000s pinwheel pump, it’s ideal for systems without a sump or where cabinet space is limited. This external pump design also prevents heat transfer to the tank and simplifies maintenance.
Constructed from high-quality acrylic, the Classic 2000-HOB features quiet operation, a built-in surface skimmer intake, and tool-free pump removal. Its efficient air-water mixing and compact footprint make it a smart choice for reefers who demand performance without sacrificing space.

Warranty is valid for the original purchaser from the date of purchase. CoralVue must be notified in writing within 10 days of defect discovery. Warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorized repairs, or modifications. CoralVue reserves the right to repair or replace defective items. Consequential or incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.

If your order is already in transit, you’ll need to request a return once it arrives. Keep in mind that some items, like aquariums and livestock, can’t be returned.
