Overview
The HYDROS Rope Leak Sensor offers a smarter, broader approach to leak detection. Unlike single-point surface sensors, this 9-foot rope can be wrapped or laid along sump edges, plumbing, under aquariums, or around equipment to detect water contact across a much larger area.
Plug it into any HYDROS Sense Port—no external power needed. Once water touches any part of the rope, it instantly notifies your HYDROS Control system. From there, you can automate emergency responses such as powering off return pumps, disabling skimmers, sounding alarms, or triggering mobile alerts. Setup is fast and fully customizable in the HYDROS App.

Installation Tips
- Lay the rope flat on the surface to monitor, securing ends with tape if needed
- Avoid taping over the sensor body - maximize exposure
- Test using the HYDROS App by dripping water across the rope; dry thoroughly after testing
Warranty
1-Year Limited Warranty from CoralVue covers manufacturing defects from the purchase date.
Warranty Conditions:
- Original owner only
- Must not be altered, abused, or improperly repaired
- CoralVue must be notified within 10 days of defect discovery
- Repair or replacement only – no liability for incidental damages
We totally understand that plans change! You can modify or cancel your order as long as it hasn’t been shipped yet. Just call or email us right away - our team will confirm if we can catch it before it leaves our facility.
If your order is already in transit, you’ll need to request a return once it arrives. Keep in mind that some items, like aquariums and livestock, can’t be returned.
