Overview:
The Blue Tang, also known as the Regal Tang or Hippo Tang, is a popular and visually striking species recognized for its vibrant blue body and yellow tail. It is an active swimmer that does best in large, well-oxygenated systems with plenty of open space. While generally peaceful, it may display territorial behavior toward other tangs. This species is reef-safe and makes an excellent addition to community saltwater aquariums.
