Neptune Systems – Trident Marine Aquarium Water Analyzer

Overview

The Neptune Trident is an advanced automated water analyzer designed for reef aquariums. It performs regular testing of alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium, eliminating the need for manual testing and improving consistency and stability in your system. When combined with the Neptune DŌS (sold separately), the Trident enables full automation of supplement dosing, making it easier than ever to maintain ideal water chemistry.

Key Features

  • Automated Testing for Alkalinity, Calcium, and Magnesium
  • Includes a 2-Month Reagent Kit (approx. 45 days of use on standard schedule)
  • Precision: ±0.05 dKH (Alk), ±15 ppm (Ca & Mg)
  • Integrated with Apex Fusion – real-time data, alerts, and graphing
  • Plug & Play Setup – ready to test in under 15 minutes
  • Supports ADC (Automatic Dosing Control) when paired with Neptune DŌS
  • Low Maintenance – easy reagent changes, minimal calibration
  • Compact & Quiet – small footprint and low operating noise

How It Works

The Trident performs automated titration tests, analyzing a small water sample with pre-mixed reagents. Results are measured using a built-in colorimeter and immediately reported to your Apex system for tracking and alerts. It stores used sample fluid in an external waste container (not included).

Automate Your Dosing with Neptune DŌS

Pairing the Trident with the Neptune DŌS creates a fully automated system that adjusts dosing in response to test results. Using Automatic Dosing Control (ADC), the Apex will make real-time dosing adjustments within safe margins to keep parameters stable—ideal for reef environments where stability is critical.

Effortless Setup & Maintenance

  • No calibration required
  • No cutting tubes or mixing reagents
  • Simple reagent replacement drawer system
  • Reagents last approximately 1 month on default test schedule (4x Alk, 2x Ca, 2x Mg per day)

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 4.25” W x 12” L x 10” H
  • Testing Time: ~7 minutes per test
  • Water Sample Required: ~8mL
